Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

1 cup beer, white wine, or chicken stock
1 1/2 cups cheese, shredded (I like a combo of cheddar and Monterey jack)
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Pork Chops and Apples with Maple Sauce

Ingredients

1/3 c maple syrup
1 Tb spicy brown mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 c bread crumbs (I used 1/2 roll of Ritz crackers, crushed, instead – mmmmmm!)
4 pork chops
2 Tb olive oil
1/2 c apple juice or cider
2 apples, sliced

Frank’s Reuben Dip

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Frank’s Kraut, drained and chopped
1 – 3 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1 – 8 oz. container sour cream
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
4 oz. sliced corned beef, finely diced
2-3 Tbsp milk

 
Directions

Combine and heat all ingredients, except milk, in a small saucepan over low heat until hot.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

2 cups sifted Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
3 TBSP shortening

 
Directions

In large bowl, combine powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs
In small saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter
Pour over crumb mix
Blend until mix is moist
Shape into 1″ balls
Freeze on wax paper

Poppyseed Chicken

Ingredients

1 to 1/2 lbs chicken breast (I used 4 good sized breasts)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp Poppyseeds
1 tube Ritz crackers
1 stick butter

 
Directions

Preheat oven to 350
Boil water
Add chicken breasts and boil until cooked thoroughly (no pink)
In large bowl, mix soup, sour cream and poppyseeds
Crush crackers
Melt butter
Mix crackers and butter
